Hotel Königshof sits centrally between the districts of Garmisch and Partenkirchen, right by the river Partnach. The main station and the central bus station are at most two minutes away on foot, the valley station of the Zugspitze railway about 200 metres. Arriving without a car is easy – the local bus stop towards the Wank cable car is directly opposite the hotel.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen main station and the central bus station are at most two minutes on foot from the house. You can travel right to the door and leave the car at home.
Guests often ask about a station transfer or shuttle. Neither is a fixed service with us – speak to reception and we will look at it individually.
The approach is by motorway from Munich, Augsburg or Innsbruck. Parking is exclusively in our own underground car park.

Vehicle height and roof boxes: The underground car park can only be used by vehicles up to 1.80 m (180 cm) in height – roof boxes and roof racks count towards this. Taller vehicles, vans and campervans should use the public car parks nearby. If you are unsure, please give us a quick call in advance.
There are public car parks nearby, among others opposite the hotel and at the ice stadium. Their terms and availability are outside our control.
