Contact form
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process the data you provide: first and last name, e-mail address, optionally your phone number, the chosen subject and your message. In addition, your IP address, your browser identifier and the time of receipt are recorded for technical reasons. This technical information serves exclusively to prevent automated misuse.
Your enquiry is forwarded to the responsible mailbox in our house – event enquiries to [email protected], all others to [email protected]. You automatically receive an acknowledgement of receipt at the address you provided. We also store the enquiry in our database so that no enquiry is lost if the e-mail delivery should fail.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in reliably handling guest enquiries pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The enquiry stored in the database is deleted automatically 90 days after receipt. E-mail correspondence in our mailboxes is subject to statutory retention periods. You may object to storage at any time and request the deletion of your enquiry.
Enquiry by e-mail, phone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, phone or fax, your enquiry including all personal data arising from it is stored and processed by us for the purpose of dealing with your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
Newsletter
To subscribe to our newsletter we process your first and last name and your e-mail address. Subscription uses the double opt-in procedure: after submitting the form you receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. Only when you click this link do we add you to the list. If you do not confirm, your subscription is deleted automatically after seven days.
To document consent pursuant to Art. 7 (1) GDPR we log the time and IP address of the subscription and the time and IP address of the confirmation. The legal basis for processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter e-mail is sufficient, or an informal message to [email protected]. After unsubscribing, your address is blocked for mailings; the record of consent is retained until the statutory documentation obligations expire. Mailings are sent exclusively via our own mail server; no data is passed to third parties. Opening and click behaviour is not tracked.
Place of storage
The data from the contact form and the newsletter is stored in a database on our own server within the European Union. There is no transfer to third countries.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics 4 uses cookies and allows us to evaluate the use of the website.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Within the EU, however, the IP address is anonymised before transmission (IP masking). Google processes this data on our behalf in order to evaluate the use of the website, compile reports and provide further services.
The legal basis is your express consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and section 25 (1) TTDSG). Google Analytics is only loaded after you have agreed in the consent banner – without your consent no Google script is loaded, no cookies are set and no connection to Google is established.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The “Cookie settings” link can be found at the bottom of every page in the footer. We store your decision exclusively locally in your browser and ask again after 180 days.
